From Egypt to the World
Rowad Al Sharq Export was founded in 2010 as a company specializing in exporting Egyptian food products — fresh dates, onions, fruits, and herbs — to Gulf and European markets. Our vision was clear from day one: bringing Egypt's agricultural treasures to every home worldwide.
As markets grew and customer demand expanded, we discovered a new opportunity in 2014: Gulf and European markets were seeking reliable Egyptian suppliers for cleaning products, tissue paper, and industrial hygiene supplies. So we launched our Cleaning & Hygiene division as a natural extension of our export expertise.
Today, we proudly export through two integrated divisions to over 40 countries across five continents. Our Food Division exports dates, onions, fruits, and organic fertilizers. Our Cleaning Division exports tissue paper, industrial detergents, and household plastic tools. But we haven't forgotten our roots — we remain an Egyptian company born from the land of the Nile.

Founded — Food Division
Rowad Al Sharq Export was founded as an Egyptian company specializing in exporting fresh dates and agricultural products to Gulf and European markets.
Food Expansion
We added fresh onions, potatoes, mangoes, grapes, herbs, and Egyptian spices to our agricultural export lineup.
Cleaning Division Launch
We launched our Cleaning & Hygiene division — household cleaning tools, plastics, and industrial detergents — responding to Gulf market demand.
Tissue Production
We started manufacturing world-class tissue products — kitchen towels, toilet rolls, facial tissues — for export to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Kuwait.
Gulf Expansion
We reached 20 countries thanks to our dual portfolio: fresh food products and industrial & household cleaning supplies.
Dual Certifications
We obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and HACCP for food products, plus GMP, CE Marking, SASO, and GSO for cleaning products.
OEM for Both Divisions
We launched private-label manufacturing — custom packaging and branding for dates and onions on one side, and detergents and tissue paper on the other.
